Joel Reske (he/him) is an engineer at Ashby, a startup building better tools for recruiters.

He studdied CS in the Tufts University School of Engineering, and graduated in the class of 2019. At Tufts, he made music, avoided Halligan, and was part of a chefs' club. Some coursework that inpired Joel the most was COMP 105 (Programming Languages), COMP 150 (Graph Theory), and Creative Writing.

Joel has worked at a variety of companies - thus far preffering the most interesting opportunities to more established ones. This has included the HubSpot reporting team (a large tech company), M.Gemi (a small ecommerce retailer), and some time consulting for a variety of companies.
